Osceola Music Festival and Penn High Wrestlers team up at the 41st annual Festival
The Osceola Music Festival has enjoyed a long-time relationship with the
Penn High Football Team. Every year, the football coach and players come to Fern Hunsberger Park on the Wednesday evening before the festival, to help set up tents and
place the heavy wooden stage. It is a great tradition of community service, and the
players and coaches seem to really enjoy it. Local reporters often cover the event, and
the players sing the fight song. We really couldn’t do it without them. We are an
all-volunteer nonprofit, so we are extremely thankful for this help.
This year, the 41st annual festival, the Penn Boys Wrestling and Penn Girls Wrestling
Teams will match the football team’s muscle Sunday afternoon to tear down what the
football players set up. A Festival Favorite Band, Memphis Underground, will give a
nod to all three teams, wish them another exciting season, and thank them for their community service!
In addition, the Wrestling team will be selling raffle tickets to see Zack Bryant at Notre Dame, and they will donate $5 of every ticket sold to the Osceola Music Festival for our
future events!
Please support our local teams and the Osceola Music Festival by visiting their booth on Saturday or Sunday to buy a chance to see Zach Bryant.
